What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitating one-hour life skills sessions with K-2 students, providing coaching and reinforcing literacy skills introduced by Reading Specialists
• Inspiring students to progress through adaptive learning applications and reach their weekly academic targets
• Guiding emotional regulation, resilience, and critical thinking through consistent routines and supportive presence
• Monitoring student development and identifying concerns early, adapting approaches in partnership with your team
• Building a classroom environment that balances structure, engagement, and individualized attention

Basic Requirements

• Must be available to work full-time and in-person at our campus in Chicago, IL; Miami, FL; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Monica, CA; Lake Forest (Orange County), CA
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• 3 years of experience working with children ages 4–7 in educational settings, afterschool programs, coaching, or comparable roles
• Strong storytelling ability and dynamic presentation skills: capable of capturing and maintaining the attention of young learners in group settings
• Capacity to maintain high expectations for yourself and students, and motivate children to achieve their objectives
• Growth-oriented mindset and receptiveness to feedback
• Authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
