Essential Duties
· Provide strong account leadership through a consultative sales approach with accounts
· Successfully cultivate long-term relationships with existing and new customers
· Understand key business drivers of customer accounts in order to provide effective solutions
· Assess the current marketplace and reports on market and competitive information
· Develop strategies for company growth
· Make formal sales presentations, develops new customer base and fosters partnerships
· Achieve and sustain revenue and customer targets
· Work well independently and as a team
· Provides excellent customer service
Qualifications:
Education/Experience: Minimum 5 years of oil and gas industry experience in successful sales and service required. Strong oil and gas field operations experience including knowledge in production chemical application and product offerings.
Driving Requirements: Valid driver’s license – field travel expected.
Physical Requirements – Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 20 pounds chest high. Must be able to reach, push, pull, and grasp with arms and hands. Will require standing, crouching and/or kneeling, sitting, walking, driving, and transitioning in/out of vehicles. Must be able to talk, hear, and see. Required to have the visual acuity to safely and legally operate motor vehicles.
Work Environment – Some exposure to environmental conditions such as extreme weather conditions. Potential but unlikely, exposure to harmful chemicals, dust, odors, fumes, oil and gases. Noise level is typically moderate, occasionally loud.
Financial Skills – Understands the financial implications of business decisions, monitors market competition, targets potential customers for business development.
Language Skills: Ability to read, interpret, and understand documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. English language fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending.
Computer Skills – Efficiently navigate a web browser, mobile applications, Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.). Proficiency in designing spreadsheets, creating advanced formulas, charts, and tables required. Must be able to design professional presentations.
