Job Title: Accounts Receivable Associate (Part-Time)
Location: Minot ND
FLSA Status: Non-exempt, Hourly
Remote Status: Onsite, in-office only
Benefits Eligibility: No
Work Schedule:
Part-time hours are 20-25 hr/week but can range up to 30 hrs/week during month end or busy times.
Office hours are flexible but must fall within our normal business hours (8am-5pm).
Job Summary Provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts.
Essential Duties - Other Duties May Be Assigned
Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED. 0-2 years accounts receivable and/or general accounting experience preferred. Knowledge of general accounting principles preferred.
Certifications/Licenses: None required.
Driving Requirements: None
Physical Requirements – Must be able to talk and hear. Requires close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and figures and view a computer screen. Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally. The position is mostly sedentary, involving sitting the majority of the day.
Work Environment – Indoor office setting. Noise level is typically quiet. Position is not eligible for remote work, other than temporary and/or rare occasions.
Communication Skills – Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Effectively communicate detailed data via verbal and written communication. Provide excellent customer service.
Cognitive Skills – Must be able to focus for long periods of time. Ability to comprehend financial data, details, problem solve and ensure consistency and accuracy in all work products.
Computer Skills – Efficiently navigate a web browser, mobile applications, and electronic timesheets. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.), especially MS Excel. Experience in accounting software preferred.

- Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records
- Maintain billing system for assigned accounts to update pricing, adding new wells, etc.
- Verify blend sheets submitted by the acidizing team match information in software and BOLs
- Work closely with field personnel to review and clarify sales order details daily, including dimensions/locations
- Update sales orders if needed and ship sales orders daily
- Enter appropriate and accurate information into the master tracking spreadsheet daily
- Daily verification that all invoices were submitted via the invoice submission platform
- Generate and send out invoices via the company invoice submission platform as often as the customer requires (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)
- Enter customer payments into software; research and resolve payment discrepancies
- Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
- Investigate and resolve customer queries
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail, or in-person
- Serve as main AR point of contact for assigned customer accounts
- Export data from Power BI into MS Excel
- Weekly review of AR aging report
- Assist with month-end closing – make sure everything is shipped and invoiced; close out all sales orders
- Develop a thorough understanding of company product lines, locations, and internal reporting requirements
- Work well independently and as a team
- Provide excellent customer service
