Key Responsibilities
- Lead the research, documentation, and implementation of complex technical accounting issues, including revenue recognition, leases, stock compensation, and acquisitions.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
- Prepare and review technical memos and accounting position papers.
- Support quarterly and annual financial reporting processes.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, and operations to address accounting implications of business initiatives.
- Mentor and develop junior team members while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s degree preferred.
- CPA designation required.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience, with a foundation in Big 4 public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex accounting matters to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in a corporate accounting or technical accounting role is a plus.
