What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Copywriter position at Creative Circle?
We're seeking an experienced Thought Leadership Writer to support internal content development. This role focuses on long-form, journalism-style writing that captures an established brand voice while translating expert insights into clear, engaging, and conversational content. Familiarity with education audiences is a plus, but not required.
The ideal candidate is comfortable interviewing internal subject matter experts, synthesizing complex ideas, and collaborating closely with a cross-functional team to produce high-quality thought leadership.
This is a fully remote assignment, estimated to be 40-60 hours of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Write 10 long-form thought leadership pieces using an established brand voice (examples will be provided)
- Interview internal experts and translate their insights into compelling written content using a journalistic approach
- Help coordinate and schedule interviews with internal stakeholders
- Develop additional content types as needed, including: Speaking abstracts, Email copy, and Related internal communications
- Collaborate with internal team members throughout the content development and review process
- Incorporate feedback and revisions to ensure alignment with tone, voice, and objectives
Writing Style & Experience
- Strong long-form writing experience (this role is not focused on short-form or social content)
- Conversational, approachable tone
- Loosely follows AP style
- Experience writing thought leadership or executive-level content
- Strong interviewing, listening, and synthesis skills
