Our Beauty client is seeking a Print Production Designer to join their team for the next 3 months, 40 hours/week.
This role is hybrid onsite 3 days a week in New York City.
Role Summary
The Production Designer will support the execution of high-quality print and merchandising assets for a fast-paced beauty or consumer goods environment. This role is responsible for translating approved creative concepts into accurate, production-ready files while maintaining brand consistency across a high volume of deliverables. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of production workflows, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
Top Must Have Skills
Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat
Strong print production background with experience preparing files for external vendors
Ability to adapt and resize creative across multiple formats while maintaining consistency
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Additional Qualifications
Experience in beauty or consumer goods retail industry preferred
Strong understanding of typography, layout, and visual design principles
Experience working closely with Art Directors to execute final artwork
Familiarity with asset management in cloud-based environments
Detail-oriented with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
Responsibilities
Translate Art Director approved designs into pre-production artwork across merchandising formats and sizes
Adapt, resize, and prepare creative assets for consistent execution prior to vendor handoff
Execute simple layouts and bullnose designs as needed
Prepare mechanical files and ensure production accuracy for external vendors
Organize and maintain digital assets within a shared cloud environment
Support retouching, color matching, and print proof review
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and incorporate feedback efficiently
Ensure all deliverables meet brand standards and production requirements
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
