Our Non-Profit client is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join their team. This is fully onsite role (5 days/week) in Overland Park, KS working 40 hrs/week. Candidates must be local to be considered.
Key responsibilities include supporting the development and execution of marketing campaigns, event planning, and campaign design under guidance. This role includes a strong focus on administrative and organizational support, such as coordinating materials, assisting with data entry and formatting, and helping maintain project timelines.
This position supports the alignment of marketing efforts within the company through consistent, detail-oriented execution and internal collaboration. The Marketing Coordinator is involved in daily tasks that keep the marketing department functioning smoothly, contributing to accuracy, organization, and efficiency across initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
- Manage and update the marketing calendar and assist with events.
- Support internal coordination to align marketing efforts across the organization.
- Participate in external marketing and retention initiatives.
- Assist with creation of social media content that aligned with brand messaging and campaign objectives.
- Publish social media content via Hootsuite for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, Threads, and Youtube.
- Assist with writing and research for SEO focused blog content.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Use VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and more in Excel to support data analysis and reporting.
- Review and proofread marketing materials for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and consistency.
- Oversee marketing material inventory.
- Prepare files and coordinate print projects.
- Manage the marketing email inbox and redirect emails to the appropriate contacts for completion.
- Attend designated events during standard business hours and participate in selected events outside of business hours.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in an administrative position, ideally within a marketing department.
- Communicates clearly, courteously, and confidently in person, by phone, and in writing.
- Listens actively and seeks clarification.
- Writes professional correspondence, documents member interactions accurately, and maintains clarity and accuracy in all written communications.
- Builds positive relationships and contributes to a collaborative work environment.
- Listens respectfully, maintains confidentiality, and focuses on resolving conflict constructively.
- Supports team goals above individual interests and helps build morale and group commitment to shared objectives.
