Ad Review Specialist (Series 7/24 Registrations Required)

Our Financial client is seeking an Ad Review Specialist to join their team through 12/31/26, 40 hours/week. 

This role is fully remote in the US (preference for working hours to be CST). 

Role Summary
At the core of this role, you will review advertising content across digital and traditional channels to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. This includes reviewing websites, emails, and other marketing materials ranging from quick edits to larger projects. You will manage a consistent daily case load while partnering with internal teams and supporting a phone help line. The team will provide training on advertising compliance regulations and policies; success in this role depends on your ability to learn technical subject matter quickly and apply strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills in an evolving environment.
 

Top Must Have Skills

FINRA Series 7 and Series 24 registrations are required
2 to 3 years of advertising review or advertising compliance experience in the financial industry; if no direct ad review experience, 5 or more years of relevant financial industry experience
Strong attention to detail, similar to an editing or quality review role
Proven ability to manage case loads effectively and prioritize tasks based on complexity
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to navigate multiple technologies efficiently, including Microsoft Suite and collaboration tools

Additional Qualifications

Bachelors degree
Experience within investment and insurance products
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, SharePoint, Adobe tools, Slack, and web editing tools
Ability to manage multiple communication streams efficiently
Comfort working with limited information while maintaining appropriate due diligence
Advertising compliance experience preferred
Demonstrated stability, with at least one year or more with recent employers
Availability aligned to CST business hours, approximately 9 to 5 preferred; other time zones may be considered

Responsibilities

Review and approve advertising and marketing materials, including websites and emails, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Handle daily review volumes, including approximately 6 to 7 website cases and 8 smaller email cases per day, with an average turnaround time of 10 business days
Assess content ranging from quick updates to larger, more complex projects within field websites
Provide guidance and support through a phone help line, averaging approximately 20 calls per week
Document review decisions clearly and consistently across systems
Collaborate with business partners to resolve issues and provide compliant solutions
Manage multiple review cases simultaneously while meeting quality and timeliness expectations
Continuously learn and apply advertising compliance regulations, company policies, and evolving best practices
Participate openly in feedback and professional development to improve review quality and efficiency
