Key Responsibilities
- Create sketches, 3D models, renderings, and specs to communicate design concepts
- Develop new products with guidance from senior team members
- Produce 5-7 concepts for user testing using prototyping or renderings
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Build prototypes using 3D printing and rapid prototyping tools
- Participate in cross-functional brainstorming and design reviews
- Conduct research on market trends and competitor products
- Continuously improve processes within the design and product teams
- Learn and become proficient with in-house prototyping tools within 90 days
- Strong Industrial Design experience (consumer products preferred)
- Knowledge of plastics, injection molding, and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in Rhino (Rhinoceros) and rendering tools like KeyShot
- Ability to take products from concept to production annually
- Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset
- Relevant degree (Industrial Design, Toy Design, or similar)
- Portfolio showcasing innovative, on-trend designs (toy experience a plus)
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
