Head of Experiential Production
Position Overview
Our agency client is hiring for a Head of Production . This person is responsible for leading all aspects of experiential production, ensuring high quality execution across live events, brand activations, and immersive experiences. This role oversees production strategy, teams, budgets, timelines, and vendor partnerships while maintaining operational excellence from concept through delivery.
This role is on-site 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday) in Los Angeles. Work from home on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all experiential production efforts, from planning through execution
- Develop and manage production budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
- Partner closely with creative, account, and strategy teams to bring concepts to life
- Establish and maintain production processes, best practices, and quality standards
- Manage and mentor production teams, fostering collaboration and accountability
- Oversee vendor sourcing, negotiations, and on site execution
- Identify and mitigate production risks while ensuring smooth delivery
Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in an experiential agency environment (required)
- Proven agency experience managing client-facing production work within a fast-paced creative environment
- Extensive background producing live events, brand activations, and experiential programs
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex productions
- Strong budgeting, logistics, and vendor management skills
- Ability to thrive in fast paced, deadline driven environments
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Portfolio of delivered experiential programs or case studies demonstrating creative and operational excellence
- Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours during events
