Head of Production — OZMA of California Los Angeles (Frogtown) · Full-Time
OZMA of California is an independent women's apparel brand built on exceptional materials, ethical manufacturing, and considered design. We've been at it for 11 years and we're growing. We're looking for a Head of Production to own this side of the business and take it to the next level.
This role will oversee and manage all production and product development including seasonal planning, sourcing strategy, factory relationships, costing, and seasonal timeline ownership. You'll manage and build a small team and serve as a true strategic partner to the founder, helping shape how the production function grows alongside the brand.
You have 10 years of apparel production management experience across denim, wovens, sweaters, and knits, with deep relationships with overseas and domestic factories, and the confidence to make decisions independently. You're calm, organized, and know how to lead a team through a fast-moving season without losing the thread on quality or integrity.
Our makers are in Peru, Portugal, and Los Angeles. We make small batches and care deeply about how things are made.
Qualifications
- 10 years apparel production management across denim, wovens, sweaters, and knits
- Established relationships with overseas and domestic factories
- Proven experience managing and mentoring small teams
- Strong grasp of costing, margin management, and critical path execution
- Deep alignment with ethical, sustainable manufacturing practices
