Creative Project Manager

Our client is the Mobile Marketing team of a global tech leader seeking a Creative Project Manager. This is a 6-month, 40 hours/week assignment with likely extension that will be onsite 4-5 days/week. 

The Creative Project Manager will be responsible for managing creative campaigns, tracking and coordinating cross-functional activities, and driving marketing efforts for the mobile product portfolio. The Creative Project Manager will work closely with the wireless carrier and retailer account teams. The scope focuses on integrated GTM planning, launch support, and creative execution.

 

The Creative Project Manager will:

- Support multiple marketing and cross functional support teams within the organization, such as sales account teams, creative production, retail operations, and multiple agencies in the development of demand and traffic generating marketing campaigns, in-store experiences, promotions, experiential campaigns, etc.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage mid- and long-term strategic project roadmaps, report on plans and schedules, drive escalation and address resolution of issues, and manage mitigation plans for project risks

- Conduct and support launch post-mortem analysis across carriers and retailers

- Manage and prioritize multiple projects from kick-off to completion, including the creation and communication of project schedules, budget tracking and ensuring all deliverables are met, trafficking, asset procurement, quality control and regularly updating project status

- Work with cross-functional teams to define, estimate and document the overall scope of assigned projects

- Facilitate meetings with collaborators and circulate actionable notes

- Address issues related to variances in timeline, scope, schedule, budget and quality

-  Monitor progress against plan, address problems, provide solutions, and implement changes as necessary to ensure the project timeline is followed

- Manage and communicate ongoing changes in tasks, goals, or performance

- Collaborate with internal functions to develop and execute scopes of projects, including estimates and timelines, successfully and efficiently

 

The Creative Project Manager must have: 

- 6 years of experience in project management, integrated marketing, or product management, within a cross-functional environment (creative agency experience a plus)

- Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and deliverables in a high-volume, fast-paced studio environment

- Ability to organize and understand project requirements that may at times be ambiguous

- Ability to create strong relationships and build trust with cross-functional teams, leadership, third-party vendors, freelancers and other appropriate partners

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to articulate clearly and effectively over the phone and through email

- Skills in prioritizing, delegating, budgeting, and implementing processes

 

Bonus: skills in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Excel are a plus but not required!
