Account Strategy Manager 

Position Overview
Our retail client in Hoboken, NJ, is seeking an Account Strategy Manager to join their team on a 4-month contract, with the possibility of extension. This position is 40 hours a week and hybrid. 

The Account Strategy Manager will develop and execute omnichannel advertising programs that drive both brand awareness and conversion outcomes for advertisers. In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to clients and internal stakeholders, managing campaign execution across managed-service and self-service media channels while delivering measurable business results. 

You will oversee campaign planning, activation, optimization, reporting, and client communication. The ideal candidate combines strong digital media expertise with a consultative mindset and excels in fast-paced, client-facing environments.


Key Responsibilities

• Build and execute data-driven media strategies aligned with client business objectives. 
• Manage end-to-end campaign delivery across display, video, search, social, programmatic, CTV, retail media, and emerging channels. 
• Partner with Sales and Account teams to develop strategic media recommendations and proposals. 
• Lead client and agency discussions, providing expertise on audience strategy, media planning, optimization, and performance. 
• Monitor campaign pacing, performance, and KPIs, delivering actionable insights and optimization recommendations. 
• Drive client satisfaction through proactive communication, problem-solving, and strategic guidance.
• Identify and present upsell opportunities to expand client investment and generate incremental revenue. 
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, analytics, and ad technology teams to ensure successful campaign execution. 
• Maintain quality standards, meeting internal SLAs and campaign launch requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. 
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in digital media, account strategy, media planning, campaign management, or advertising consulting. 
• Experience managing campaigns across digital channels, including display, video, search, social, and programmatic media. 
• Strong understanding of media metrics such as CPM, CPC, CTR, ROAS, and campaign optimization best practices. 
• Proven client-facing experience with the ability to build relationships and influence strategic decisions. Excellent presentation, communication, and project management skills. 
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with platforms and tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI, JIRA, or similar reporting and workflow systems. 
• Strong background in programmatic advertising, including DSPs, DMPs, and ad exchanges. 
• Demonstrated success growing advertiser investment through strategic media recommendations. 
• Experience working within retail media, eCommerce advertising, or large-scale digital advertising environments.
