A newly launched, privately held title company is seeking a licensed Title Agent to lead and oversee title operations in Ohio. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to shape workflows, lead growth initiatives, and play a foundational role in building a dynamic, service-driven organization from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the Designated Title Agent of record in Ohio
Manage full-cycle title and escrow transactions—from file intake to disbursement
Collaborate with lenders, underwriters, and clients to ensure smooth closings
Design and optimize internal systems and workflows
Assist in recruiting and training operational staff
Maintain compliance with ALTA Best Practices, state regulations, and escrow guidelines
Advise on title clearance and complex curative issues
Partner with ownership to scale operations and improve the client experience
Qualifications
Active Ohio Title Insurance License (Required)
Experience in purchase, refinance, or commercial closings
Proficiency in ResWare, SoftPro, Qualia, or similar platforms
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Self-starter with a leadership mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
