Key Responsibilities
Plan and direct short-term production activities (shift, daily, and weekly) to meet schedule, quality, and cost objectives Analyze production requirements and troubleshoot issues related to manpower, equipment, and technical challenges Provide input for long-term production planning based on performance, staffing, and equipment availability Review cost and schedule data to monitor productivity and implement improvement initiatives Manage and control overhead spending within approved operating budgets Enforce workplace policies and procedures consistently across staff and hourly employees Identify opportunities to improve productivity through process enhancements and equipment optimization Develop employee skill assessments, training plans, and performance evaluations Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure efficient system operations Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations Delegate responsibilities to support efficiency and timely task completion Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of production and/or supervisory experience Strong leadership and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel Flexibility to work overtime as needed
