Family Medicine Physician – Outpatient Only (Chesapeake, VA)
Privately Owned, Well-Established Family Medicine Practice
Overview
A thriving, privately owned outpatient Family Medicine practice is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician to provide primary care to patients of all ages. This is a true Family Medicine model with comprehensive services, strong clinical support, and minimal administrative burden.
Practice Environment
Collaborative team including two physicians, two advanced practice providers, LPNs, MAs, scribes, and full administrative support
AI scribing tools, Dragon dictation, and dedicated staff who assist with documentation, orders, and coding
Large 10,000 Sq. Ft. Office With Extensive In-house Services
Moderate-complexity lab, phlebotomy
PCR (Flu/COVID/RSV) testing
Ultrasound, X-ray, ECG, spirometry
Holter monitoring & sleep studies
Position Details
Provide full-scope outpatient Family Medicine care, including adult, pediatric, and women’s health
Preferred: Family Practice physician
Patient Schedule
25–30 patients/day once established
15–20 patients/day during onboarding
Call
1 weekend/month
1 weekday/week
Calls are rare; nurses handle most messages and APPs assist with weekend call management
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $270,000–$300,000 (experience-based)
Bonus: 15% of collections above $600K–$650K
Average annual bonus: $35,000–$50,000
CME: $5,000 5 days
Licenses, dues, subscriptions fully paid
401(k) with 4% employer match
PTO: 4 weeks 9 paid holidays
Health insurance: 100% employer-paid for employee (includes some vision benefits)

Qualifications
MD or DO; Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine
