Landscape Designer/CAD Technician
Salary
$60,000 – $75,000 (Flexible/DOE)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Landscape Designer to join our collaborative design team. This position offers a unique opportunity to support Landscape Architects and Project Managers in delivering high-profile international landscape architecture projects. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about growing within the firm, detail-oriented, and passionate about shaping world-class outdoor environments. The role involves assisting in design development, site analysis, drafting, research, and project coordination—while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive, mentorship-driven environment.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct site analysis, including field surveys and assessments of topography, drainage, vegetation, and other existing conditions
Assist in developing concept designs based on client goals and site opportunities
Draft basic plans, sections, and elevations using CAD and other design software
Research plant species suitable for various site conditions and design themes
Contribute to preliminary cost estimates and material selection
Support the development of construction documents and specifications
Participate in client meetings and help prepare design presentations
Perform research on local codes, environmental factors, and sustainable practices
Create physical or digital models to visualize design intent
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other disciplines as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a closely related field from an accredited institution
0–7 years of professional experience in the design industry
Proficiency in design and production software including AutoCAD, Revit, Land F/X, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Lumion, VIZ, and/or Rhino
Strong analytical, design, and creative problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to work within project parameters and deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Interest or background in related disciplines such as horticulture, botany, urban planning, or ecology
Ability to travel internationally as required
