My client is seeking a sophisticated and driven Trusts and Estates Attorney to join our established practice. This role is designed for an experienced practitioner who thrives on providing high-level counsel to high-net-worth individuals and families. You will be responsible for designing and implementing complex estate preservation strategies, ensuring our clients’ legacies are protected through meticulous planning and administration.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Estate Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive estate plans for high-net-worth clients, focusing on wealth preservation, tax mitigation, and asset protection.
Document Drafting: Prepare a wide range of sophisticated legal documents, including:
Last Wills and Testaments
Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts
Powers of Attorney (POA)
Healthcare Proxies and other ancillary estate documents.
Estate Administration: Navigate the complexities of estate and trust administration, providing guidance to fiduciaries and beneficiaries throughout the probate or settlement process.
Client Consultation: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, translating complex legal and tax concepts into actionable advice with a personable and professional touch.
Technical Compliance: Ensure all planning and administration activities comply with Florida Bar standards and evolving state/federal tax laws.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Licensure: * Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning is highly preferred.
Core Competencies
Proven track record of working directly with high-net-worth clientele.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex files efficiently.
