Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Estate Planning Attorney with a strong background in wills, trusts, and asset protection strategies, along with some knowledge of income tax planning. The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of direct estate planning experience and thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Well-Rounded Attorney Development
We believe great estate planning attorneys are both skilled technicians and trusted advisors. This role is designed to develop both. Giving you hands-on experience in plan design, drafting, and workflow management, while also providing direct client interaction to strengthen your advisory and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advanced healthcare directives
• Manage Estate Planning Department workflow and provide guidance to paralegals and junior attorneys
• Stay current with state and federal estate, tax, and probate laws to ensure compliance and best practices
• Collaborate with financial advisors, CPAs, and other professionals to deliver comprehensive client solutions
• Build and maintain strong, trust-based client relationships through exceptional service and attention to detail
Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Florida
• 3–5 years of experience in estate planning law (wills, trusts, probate, and related areas)
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive client matters
