Position Overview
This position manages inbound and outbound customer relationships, order processing, proposals, quoting, and sales support activities. You will partner cross-functionally with logistics, production, and leadership to ensure accuracy and responsiveness throughout the customer experience. This role is also designed as a development track into Outside Sales.
Successful performance in the first six months will lead to promotion into a Sales Executive role. While base salary remains the same, commission earning potential nearly triples, and travel will expand to approximately 75% nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through calls, emails, prospecting, networking, and referrals
- Handle incoming inquiries, prepare timely and accurate quotes and proposals
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive continued growth
- Process orders and collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery
- Track pipeline activity, customer records, and follow-ups in CRM
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, customer feedback, and report insights
- Support forecasting and weekly/monthly sales activity reporting
- Participate in structured development preparing for transition into an outside sales, account executive role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- 1–3 years in B2B sales, customer service, manufacturing, or distribution environment
- Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
- Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and follow through on commitments
- $60,000–$65,000 starting base salary
- Quarterly commission structure, significant increase after 6-month promotion
