Join a team seeking an experienced Commercial Service Technician with strong skills in installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial door systems. This role focuses on quality service, safety, and ensuring reliable door operation for commercial clients.

What You’ll Do

• Install, service, and repair commercial sectional and rolling doors, plus openers
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections to ensure safety and performance
• Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical door system issues
• Calibrate and adjust springs and perform springing calculations
• Handle on-call service requests, including emergencies
• Troubleshoot complex problems and provide lasting solutions
• Follow OSHA and safety protocols
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Use company tools, equipment, and vehicles responsibly
  
  

What You Bring

• Proven experience with commercial door installation, maintenance, and repair
• Strong knowledge of springs, cables, rollers, hinges, electrical components
• Skilled in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
• Expertise in spring calibration and mechanical/electrical repairs
• Ability to work independently and on-call for emergencies
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in varied conditions
