What You’ll Do
- Install, service, and repair commercial sectional and rolling doors, plus openers
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections to ensure safety and performance
- Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical door system issues
- Calibrate and adjust springs and perform springing calculations
- Handle on-call service requests, including emergencies
- Troubleshoot complex problems and provide lasting solutions
- Follow OSHA and safety protocols
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Use company tools, equipment, and vehicles responsibly
- Proven experience with commercial door installation, maintenance, and repair
- Strong knowledge of springs, cables, rollers, hinges, electrical components
- Skilled in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
- Expertise in spring calibration and mechanical/electrical repairs
- Ability to work independently and on-call for emergencies
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in varied conditions
