What You'll Do
- Perform thorough research of land records using government offices and online resources.
- Complete boundary calculations using fundamental surveying principles to establish property, right-of-way, and easement lines.
- Prepare land survey documents including boundary retracement surveys, plats of survey, ALTA surveys, topographical surveys, easement/acquisition plats, final plats, and associated legal descriptions.
- Ensure survey documents comply with applicable state and local ordinances.
- Review titles and abstracts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- LSIT Certification or actively working toward certification.
- Associate degree or higher in Surveying, Mathematics, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Understanding of coordinate systems and vertical datums.
