As a Technical Writer, you will create content to support Covered California’s programs and technology, which help Californians enroll in health and dental insurance coverage. You will research health care coverage topics, dive into policy and processes, and turn complex information into guides, procedures, and support materials that are easy to use and understand. You will also review existing knowledge content, identify what is working and what could be improved, and recommend updates that help the end user. Salary: ANALYST II
New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.

Qualifications We’re Looking For:
- Business or technical writing experience
- Experience analyzing technical/functional specifications to determine documentation needs
- Knowledge management and/or Knowledge Base system experience
- Experience consulting with multiple program areas to develop processes and procedures
