As the Carrier Management Section Manager in the Plan Management Division, where you will lead a dedicated team of Plan Managers responsible for overseeing Qualified Health and Dental Plans statewide. In this leadership role, you will plan, direct, and evaluate section work focused on relationship management, contract oversight, and certification/recertification support for contracted health and dental plan carriers.
As a key subject matter expert on carrier management, you will serve as a primary liaison with internal and external stakeholders to resolve escalated issues and ensure carrier performance aligns with Covered California’s mission.

Salary: $7,872.00 - $9,781.00 per Month

Qualifications We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience supervising and managing staff, including workload prioritization, performance evaluations, and professional development.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee and manage complex programs, including policy development, compliance monitoring, budget management, and contract administration.
- Experience administering certification programs and onboarding processes for external partners, ensuring compliance and alignment with organizational goals.
- Familiarity with the small group insurance market, individual and family plan market, certified enrollers, and the role of sales channel partners within the California health care ecosystem.
- Experience using data and analytics to track program performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and inform strategic decisions.
