What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at Courtyard by Marriott?
- Performs Housekeeping responsibilities and tasks including but not limited to:
- Knowledge of all brand or hotel standards
- Cleaning of guest rooms and bathrooms
- *Deep cleaning tasks as needed* Dusting and vacuuming
- Towel and Linen service
- Completion of missing linen reports
- Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Track and monitor clean room reports
- Proper positioning and maintenance of Housekeeper carts and stock
- Furniture and design inspection
- Trash disposal
- Follows all safety rules and reports all safety concerns timely * Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Perform guest turn down service as needed
- Understand and abide by all company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to use stairs, bend, squat, stand or walk for extended periods that may exceed 8 hours
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds intermittently throughout the course of a normal work day
Skills & Attributes – Desired Experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent dependability and punctuality a must
- Positive attitude and teamwork
- Experience in hospitality preferred but not required
