Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, and facilities using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to ensure a spotless surface
• Sanitize bathrooms and other high-touch areas to uphold health standards and prevent contamination
• Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing as needed
• Manage custodial tasks such as trash removal, replenishing supplies, and ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to resident or guest requests for additional cleaning or amenities
• Follow safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures to create a healthy environment for all occupants

Experience

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality settings is preferred
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation practices
• Experience with laundry operations and handling various cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor polishers
• Knowledge of customer service principles to effectively assist residents or guests with their needs
• Hotel housekeeping background or experience managing housekeeping tasks is a plus
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure all areas are consistently well-maintained
