- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to ensure a spotless surface
- Sanitize bathrooms and other high-touch areas to uphold health standards and prevent contamination
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing as needed
- Manage custodial tasks such as trash removal, replenishing supplies, and ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to resident or guest requests for additional cleaning or amenities
- Follow safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures to create a healthy environment for all occupants
Experience
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality settings is preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation practices
- Experience with laundry operations and handling various cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor polishers
- Knowledge of customer service principles to effectively assist residents or guests with their needs
- Hotel housekeeping background or experience managing housekeeping tasks is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure all areas are consistently well-maintained
