The Courtyard by Marriott Cincinnati Airport South Florence is currently seeking an outgoing and energetic Assistant General Manager to join our hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff coordination
- Support staff training and development to ensure high standards of customer service, food handling, and safety protocols
- Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining optimal stock levels using Micros POS
- Supervise kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure efficient shift management and adherence to food safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile daily sales reports
- Contribute to budgeting efforts by monitoring expenses and controlling costs without compromising quality or service
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members to build a strong, motivated workforce
Skills
- Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments
- Proficiency with Micros POS
- Strong background in restaurant management, hospitality management, and food service management with supervising experience
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently
- Demonstrated leadership in team management, training & development, and staff supervision
- Knowledge of food safety standards, kitchen management, inventory control, and food handling procedures
- Ability to manage shift schedules effectively while maintaining high-quality service standards
- Experience with catering, banquet operations, bar services, or hotel environments is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in budgeting, food safety compliance, and operational procedures
