GRADE:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Development of lesson plans and course curriculum to accepted and recognized standards.
- Conducts training sessions as required.
- Provide support for trainers, adjuncts and support staff as assigned.
- Assist in maintaining training records.
- Maintains training materials and curriculum resource library.
- Assist in scheduling instructional personnel, facilities and other resources to facilitate delivery of offerings on and off site.
- Assist in creation of training calendar for publication.
- Assist in the writing and administering of grants from state and federal government.
- Assist in establishment of guidelines and requirements for all training offerings.
- Coordinates a cadre of trainers utilizing a variety of law enforcement/correctional resources in order to meet specification and requirements as established.
- Assist in development training evaluation process.
- Other duties may be assigned by Director of Law Enforcement Training.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of five years' experience in corrections/law enforcement.
- Possess three years' administrative experience in a public or private organization and/or any combination of experience or training.
- Moderate computer skills.
