Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly presented
- Serve hot beverages such as coffee, tea, and juice with friendly efficiency
- Monitor food levels throughout service, refilling and replenishing items as needed to maintain variety and abundance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and serving stations
- Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks in accordance with food safety standards
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries or requests with a positive attitude
- Support catering or banquet events when required, ensuring smooth service delivery during busy periods
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, catering, or hospitality environments; fine dining or restaurant experience is highly valued
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of food handling and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Experience in serving, food preparation, or banquet service preferred
- Barista experience or familiarity with beverage preparation is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or moving supplies
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Previous dietary aide or food industry experience is advantageous but not required
