ROV Senior Pilot Technician
Job Summary
ROV Senior Pilot Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) in offshore environments. You will lead subsea operations, ensuring safe and efficient execution of tasks such as inspections, maintenance, and subsea intervention work.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide junior ROV pilots and technicians in the operation and maintenance of ROVs during offshore projects.
- Troubleshoot and repair ROV systems, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Perform pre-dive checks and diagnostics to ensure that ROV systems are fully operational before deployment.
- Conduct ROV operations in compliance with safety procedures and project requirements, maintaining a high standard of performance.
- Assist in the development of ROV dive plans and liaise with offshore project teams to align ROV operations with project goals.
- Prepare detailed logs and reports on ROV missions, documenting activities, findings, and any technical issues encountered.
- Ensure all ROV equipment is maintained according to company standards, performing regular preventive maintenance and upgrades as required.
- Adhere to and promote health, safety, and environmental regulations, ensuring the safety of the ROV team and other offshore personnel.
