Outside Sales Representative - Valves & Automation Job Responsibilities
- Identify and engage new prospects, nurturing existing customer relationships to drive revenue growth
- Strategically manage assigned territory and accounts to meet and exceed sales targets
- Conduct site visits to understand customer operations and provide customized solutions that enhance reliability and efficiency
- Promote commercial and industrial products across the Oklahoma City area
- Develop a deep understanding of our products and confidently communicate their advantages over competitor offerings
- Must reside in Oklahoma/Oklahoma City and be willing to travel locally
- 5 years of successful technical sales experience in an industrial setting, particularly involving valves, actuators, controls, instrumentation, or fluid handling systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Industrial Distribution, or a related technical field — or equivalent industry experience
- Strong understanding of design specs, product applications, industry standards, and codes
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities; capable of clearly presenting complex solutions
- CRM platforms
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Goal-oriented and highly organized
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently to drive measurable results
