Expeditor - Industrial Valves & Automation Responsibilities
- Monitor and track purchase orders from initiation through to delivery, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and carriers to expedite shipments and resolve delivery issues.
- Communicate order status, inventory levels, and logistical updates to internal departments.
- Prioritize shipments based on project timelines and customer requirements.
- Identify supply chain bottlenecks and recommend actionable improvements.
- Generate reports on order status, delays, and performance metrics for management review.
- Collaborate with project and operations teams to align supply chain activities with overall project goals.
- Provide administrative support, including managing shared email inboxes, answering inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of industrial distribution practices and terminology is a plus.
