Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Aid in the planning and execution of installation activities for Reciprocating Compression equipment.
- Assist in investigating and resolving customer reports of technical problems with equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks under the guidance of the site team leader.
- Diagnose and address engine problems with supervision.
- Repair and rebuild reciprocating engines and compressors as directed by the site team lead.
- Conduct safety checks and report safety concerns promptly.
- Monitor key operation variables and process data, reporting to the site team lead to ensure units operate within design parameters.
- Attend on-site operations meetings with client personnel to proactively identify and resolve issues as directed by the team lead.
- Participate in construction activities to ensure process designs align with operational and safety requirements, suggesting improvements based on field experience.
- Establish working relationships with key customer contacts, including operators, engineers, and maintenance personnel, under the guidance of the team lead.
- Participate in safety and environmental reviews, contributing to process hazard assessments.
- Provide troubleshooting and problem-solving assistance to customers for equipment repair or correction.
- Support turn-around activities for customers, including procedure writing, equipment inspection, etc., as directed by the team lead.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- 0-1 years of industry experience; experience with Reciprocating Compression equipment is a plus.
- Familiarity with various technical field concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Completion of an Associate's degree with a technical concentration (Bachelor’s degree preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- Formal training in a technical certificate program.
- Technical training in the oil and gas industry or associated industries.
- Mastery of core competencies including basic tools, engine & compressor theory, product knowledge, etc.
- Basic proficiency in computer skills, including Word & Excel.
- Safety-focused, service-oriented, and business-focused mindset.
- Ability to handle multiple activities successfully and work effectively under supervision.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Result-oriented with a sense of urgency.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, along with above-average interpersonal skills.
