Local Travel CT/XR Technologist - 13-week contract in Grants, New Mexico. Experienced radiologic technologist needed to perform CT and X-ray imaging while ensuring patient safety and image quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiographic and CT examinations according to established protocols
Operate X-ray and CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently
Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and provide appropriate positioning and support
Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following radiation safety standards
Verify patient information, examination orders, and imaging protocols
Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies and procedures
Monitor patients throughout examinations and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team
Maintain equipment and report equipment concerns or malfunctions as appropriate
Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and regulatory standards
Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and excellent communication throughout the assignment
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
ARRT (R) certification required
New Mexico State Radiologic Technologist License required
ARRT (CT) certification or provisional CT required
Current clinical competency in diagnostic X-ray and CT procedures
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Strong patient-care, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
Previous CT/X-ray experience strongly preferred
