Full‑time OR Circulator Registered Nurse in East Gallup, NM. Responsible for managing perioperative nursing care, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining a sterile operating room environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with surgical team members to deliver patient‑centered care
Prepare the operating room with appropriate instruments, supplies, and equipment
Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures
Maintain aseptic and sterile techniques
Document all nursing activities accurately in patient records
Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and postoperative care
Adhere to hospital protocols, safety regulations, and infection control policies
Qualifications:
Active RN license in New Mexico or Compact State License
Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
1 year of recent OR Circulating experience required
Preferred Skills:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification preferred
