Payroll Specialist
Location: Waukesha, WI
Compensation: $28/hr - $30/hr
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (32–40 hours/week, flexible)

Overview
A manufacturing organization is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support a high-volume payroll team responsible for processing payroll for salaried and hourly employees. This role will partner closely with payroll leadership to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient payroll operations across multiple employee groups.
Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly salaried and weekly hourly payroll accurately and efficiently
- Handle pre-tax and post-tax deductions with a high level of accuracy
- Apply understanding of supplemental vs. regular pay calculations
- Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
- Support the Senior Payroll Manager and team with day-to-day payroll operations
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of U.S. payroll processing experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume payroll
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
