Responsibilities
- Determine material needs and process purchase orders.
- Track open orders and follow up on late or incomplete deliveries.
- Negotiate costs for purchased goods.
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure delivery goals are met and any quality issues and cost concerns are addressed.
- Monitor safety stock levels for new and existing purchased items.
- Source products with new suppliers as needed.
- Manage vendor performance related to quality, cost, and delivery.
Qualifications
- 3 years of purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
