Position Details
Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Greater Madison Area, WI – 100% Onsite
Schedule: Monday – Friday | Typical hours 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $85,000 - $90,000 base salary
Bonus: None

Responsibilities
Plant Accounting & Financial Reporting
• Lead month-end and year-end close activities for multiple manufacturing plants
• Prepare journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial statement analysis
• Partner with plant controllers and finance leadership to ensure accurate reporting and support variance analysis
• Coordinate external audits, prepare supporting documentation, and assist with internal controls and process improvements
• Oversee fixed assets and support ERP system reporting and optimization initiatives
• Support cross-functional accounting projects while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting strongly preferred
- 2-5 years of general accounting experience required
- Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
- ERP experience preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
