Job Title: Senior Vice President, Fund Controller
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Type: Full-Time, Permanent/Direct Hire
Pay Range: $200,000 - $250,000 base salary plus 35% bonus

Key Responsibilities:
- Development of the US Finance team, establishing the target operating model for the daily-priced registered funds and embedding the controls.
- Support Finance workstream for the setup of fund administration, transfer agency and custody to move from a monthly to daily environment.
- Manage the relationships with the fund administrator, transfer agent, custodian, valuation agent and auditors — setting expectations, monitoring KPIs / SLAs and holding providers to account for performance.
- Partner with Data Intelligence & Analytics, Technology and Change to mature the daily NAV platform (eFront, Databricks, Appian, Canoe and related tooling), driving automation, resilience and control.
- Help shape valuation policy and methodology for the Equity and Credit funds with the Valuation Committee.
- Support and influence launch of new fund launches in the US.
- Oversee the end-to-end daily NAV production cycle.
- Drive execution of the US team’s role in the daily cycle: T0 cashflow monitoring, administrator submission, FX lockdown and final NAV consistency, acting as failsafe for reconciliation and sign-off where required.
- Oversee the internal valuation process and Valuation Committee interaction, ensuring portfolio NAV is accurate, material adjustments are appropriately reviewed, and any fundamental changes are approved and documented.
- Ensure regulatory and Board reporting obligations are met in full and on time.
Key Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience within private equity / alternative fund environment
- CPA required
- 40 Act experience required
