Job Title: Fund Controller

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Type: Full-Time, Permanent/Direct Hire

Pay Range: $180,000 - $200,000 base salary plus 25% bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Fund Accounting & Reporting - Close, Financial Statements, Capital Activity, Investment Valuations, Reporting Packages
• Audit, Tax & Compliance
• Service Provider Oversight - Review 3rd party work, Monitor cash
• Investor & Management Support - LP due diligence, budgeting, forecasting
• Process Improvement

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in public accounting, private equity, private credit, hedge fund, or other alternative investment fund accounting.
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and US federal tax code with emphasis on partnerships and investment funds.
