Responsibilities
- Plan, prioritize, and oversee maintenance activities to support production schedules and equipment reliability.
- Maintain and administer the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, downtime tracking, inventory management, and reporting.
- Develop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Monitor equipment performance and maintenance metrics and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Coordinate maintenance work with production and department leaders to minimize operational disruptions.
- Lead maintenance-related downtime events and ensure timely resolution of equipment and facility issues.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and support effective inventory control practices.
- Support startup, commissioning, and maintenance readiness activities for new equipment and capital projects.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies, Lockout/Tagout procedures, machine guarding requirements, contractor safety programs, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct investigations and root cause analysis for equipment failures, maintenance-related issues, and safety concerns.
- Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support productivity improvements, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Anticipate maintenance challenges and implement solutions that support safe and reliable operations.
- Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance personnel.
- Monitor attendance, timecards, and PTO in a timely manner.
- Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, counseling, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate training, skill development, and cross-training initiatives to support workforce flexibility and technical growth.
- Foster a collaborative team environment focused on safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to identify and implement process improvements.
- Manage maintenance spending, contractor services, inventory investments, and departmental budgets.
- Evaluate repair and replacement options to support equipment lifecycle management and operational objectives.
- Monitor maintenance costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and resource optimization.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technology, Mechanical/Electrical Technology, or a related field required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 7-10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Previous leadership or supervisory experience required. Experience with preventive maintenance systems, equipment reliability programs, and CMMS platforms preferred.
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
