Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct mechanical repairs on occupied units.
- Operate on real time systems to show work scheduled, notations, and completion.
- Maintain detailed records of work orders using AppFolio.
- Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, including supervising team members or contractors when necessary.
- Respond promptly to emergency repairs or system failures to minimize downtime and ensure safety standards are upheld.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and electrical troubleshooting.
- Skilled in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and wiring diagrams for effective diagnostics and repairs.
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems, general maintenance, and residential satisfaction.
- Ability to use tools and assess issues quickly and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation, reporting, and team collaboration.
- Demonstrated leadership or supervising experience in maintenance or facilities roles is preferred.
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to prioritize safety while maintaining high-quality work standards.
