As our Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for all St. Camillus employees. Your work will directly support staff satisfaction, compliance, and smooth organizational operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Process bi weekly payroll and manage direct deposit files
- Ensure accuracy of electronic time clock data and make necessary edits
- Validate employee benefit eligibility (e.g., PTO)
- Maintain payroll and HRIS system structure and ensure proper data transfer
- Prepare Federal and State quarterly and annual payroll reports
- Maintain employee deduction registers and benefit related journal entries
- Assist with audit requests, cost reports, and tax documentation
- Ensure accuracy of W 2s and year end tax information
- Process garnishments and maintain payroll records
- Support employees and managers with payroll related questions
- Collaborate with Human Resources on employee setup and PTO calculations
