VP, Credit Operations – Platform Build-Out
We’re partnered with a fast-growing alternative investment firm in NYC that’s scaling its private credit platform and looking to add a senior Credit Operations professional to help build and shape the function.
This is a broad, hands-on role supporting a mixed credit strategy (majority illiquid) and offers meaningful visibility with the investment team and senior leadership. The platform is in growth mode, and this hire will have a real voice in how things are built.
Key Responsibilities
- Support a growing private credit platform across illiquid credit and broadly syndicated bank loans
- Help build and maintain core operational infrastructure
- Partner closely with the investment team to take deals from IC approval through closing and funding
- Coordinate with loan agents, administrators, and internal stakeholders on deal execution
- Oversee approval of wires, oversee cash movements, and resolve cash breaks
- Support portfolio operations and compliance processes
- Contribute to designing and scaling the operating model as the platform grows
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in credit operations within asset management or alternative investments
- Strong background supporting private / illiquid credit strategies
- Comfortable operating in a build-out or growth-stage environment
- Technically savvy and systems-oriented
- Experience partnering directly with investment teams on live deals
Compensation: $275-425k total comp, based on experience
Salary : $275,000 - $425,000
