Infrastructure Private Credit | Investment VP or SVP | New York
A leading International Investment Manager is looking to add a VP into its Infrastructure Private Credit team in New York.
This team is renowned for its institutional network of Investors and is a key driver of new investments and value-added growth across the Infrastructure space. The team is part of a broader Asset Management group that manages nearly $1trillion in AUM.
This team is well established globally so you will be exposed to both domestic and international projects during your day to day role.
Candidate responsibilities:
- Leading the origination and marketing efforts to source new investment opportunities
- Managing the execution of live investment mandates from start to finish
- Constructing appropriate deal structures to minimize risk
- Researching and drafting internal investment memoranda and presenting of recommendations to appropriate parties
- Monitoring and management of operations around the fund’s portfolio to maintain a certain level of strategic growth
- Supporting the management and development of the junior team
Candidates must have:
- Bachelor’s degree, and/or an MBA from a top ranked institution
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in Investment Banking and Private Credit Investment Management
- Expertise in the Power, Infrastructure, Digital Infrastructure Renewables and Renewables/Transition sector is essential
- Financial modeling expertise
- High level of proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong level of verbal and written communication skills
- Capability to manage multiple projects and work to strict deadlines
- Team player mentality and ability to operate independently
