Job Summary
We are excited to welcome a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to our team! This role offers the unique opportunity to work directly with elementary, middle, and high school students within Carroll County Public Schools. You will play a vital part in diagnosing and treating psychological concerns, fostering essential life skills, and guiding clients through challenges to achieve their goals. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand client needs.
- Deliver evidence-based mental health therapy to individuals, families, and children.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each client.
- Facilitate group and individual sessions using proven therapeutic methods.
- Ensure detailed, timely, and accurate documentation of treatment plans and client progress.
- Conduct regular wellness check-ins to monitor and support ongoing client success.
- Uphold all professional licensing standards and facility protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or a related field.
- Licensure: Current and unrestricted license to practice therapy in Maryland (LCPC, LCSW-C, LMFT, etc.).
- Experience: Previous experience as a mental health therapist is preferred but not required.
