What are the responsibilities and job description for the Companion Caregiver For Precious Lady In Hospice-Brambleton Ave.-Weekends-1pm-6pm position at Companion Home Care?
Our precious lady with Alzheimer's is entering a new chapter of her life. Our goal is to continue to provide her with as much quality of life as she's able to have. Hospice has proven to be an excellent fit, as now that we have her anxiety and pain under control, she is the "old Barb" again. She still enjoys eating out(her appetite has returned, and she's eating like a little piglet), going for short walks around the mall and a park, and drives around town. The companion will spend this time of day doing what she wants, taking her to dinner (we have a credit card that covers hers and ours), and just being a friend to her. She doesn't like to be alone and enjoys having companions. The companion must have experience working with Alzheimers.
A background check and drug test pre-employment
A good car and driving record
Mileage reimbursement .72 per mile for outings
Saturday/Sunday- 1:00 pm-6:00 pm
Pay: $15.00 per hour
