What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elder Gent Needs A Companion After Rehab-M/W/F-4 Hour Shift-Companion's Choice-Vinton position at Companion Home Care?
A very intelligent, professional, retired gentleman faced some difficult health issues in the early years of his retirement. Now, he has overcome SO much to get himself back home and mobile using a walker, and he is ready to hit the roads! He has been stuck in the house without conversation, without social and brain stimulation, and he is just looking for a person who will take him places- shopping, appointments, lunch, and just riding around town to see what he's missed. It would be appreciated if the companion could also assist him with light housekeeping. It's hard to keep up a house while on a walker!
Background check and drug test pre-employment required
Good car and driving record required-Mileage reimbursement will be paid
Monday/Wednesday/Friday- 4 hour shifts-TBD or as the right caregiver chooses-Also flexible to accommodate upcoming doctor appointments
Pay: $15.00 per hour
