Duties
- Supervise nursing staff, assign duties, and ensure adherence to care plans and protocols
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and ongoing evaluations
- Coordinate interdisciplinary communication for seamless patient care delivery
- Complete medication administration, catheter care, and wound management following best practices
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, infection control policies, and long-term care regulations
- Utilize EMR/EHR systems to document medical records accurately and efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid LPN or RN license for the state of Iowa
- Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology
- Ability to perform physical examinations, sterile techniques, and first aid procedures
- Excellent communication skills for caregiver coordination and patient/client interaction
- Certification in Basic Life Support are required
