Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using industry-standard techniques and equipment
- Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a spotless environment
- Assist with furniture moving, setup for events, and general maintenance tasks to support operational needs
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, stairwells, elevators, and service areas to uphold safety and aesthetic standards
- Support housekeeping management by restocking supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning carpets or upholstery as needed to maintain high standards of hygiene
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service that exceeds guest expectations
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care and industrial cleaning methods
- Experience in hospitality environments that require attention to detail and customer service skills
- Janitorial or custodial experience that includes working with various cleaning equipment and supplies
- Familiarity with housekeeping management tasks such as inventory control and quality assurance is a plus
