Seeking someone 2 days per week. Days of the week vary and would include weekends and/or holidays.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and professionalism, providing solutions that exceed expectations
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and guest preferences to enhance personalized service
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are promptly addressed
- Conduct night audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions and prepare reports for management
- Promote hotel amenities and local attractions to enhance guest experience and satisfaction
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating via calls or emails, ensuring clear and courteous interactions
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs in a fast-paced setting
- Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency are advantageous for engaging with a diverse clientele
- Familiarity with hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is beneficial
- Knowledge of guest relations practices and hotel operations enhances your effectiveness in this role
